This one-of-a-kind ceramic wall candleholder was created by Warsaw based artist, Pawel Olszczynski.
His art features mystic and surrealistic themes, often rooted in the history of art, but also corresponding to phenomena such as the history of design or contemporary visual culture.
“In my artistic practice, I am often drawn to celestial bodies, comets, and stars. The series of Astral candleholders, sculpted with star-like forms, was created to celebrate the quiet magic of candlelight. Over time, as the wax melts, it reveals a delicate, cosmic performance - a star eclipsing, slowly unveiling, a gentle dance of light and shadow. It invites you to pause, to watch, and to feel time move in the soft glow of a single flame.” - Olszczynski says.
